1. What this system does
Controla Gastos was created for individual personal finance and expense tracking.
Tracks expenses, income, transfers between accounts, and recurring bills.

2. Initial setup
Open Settings to select your preferred currency and formatting.
Receive visual indicators when approaching or exceeding your target limits.
8. Accounts and credit cards
Manage multiple accounts (bank accounts, physical cash, digital wallets).
For credit cards, set statement closing dates and payment due dates.
Card transactions roll into the matching billing cycle invoice.
Transfer money between accounts without altering net expense totals.
9. Reconciliation and editing
Browse the full transaction ledger with filters by date, account, or category.
Edit or delete any transaction individually at any time.
When deleting an installment purchase, choose between single or all remaining payments.
Regularly compare the app's balances with your actual bank statements.
10. Reports and data export
View monthly balance sheets, cash flow trends, and yearly summaries.
Filter by custom date ranges, payment methods, or selected categories.
Export data to CSV to open in spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets).

All financial records remain stored solely on your device.
Export manual backups regularly and save copies to safe cloud storage or email.
The backup file packages your accounts, categories, transactions, and settings.
When switching devices, install the app and restore your backup file.
Always perform a backup before formatting your phone or updating system software.
12. Important limitations
Please review before using the app for your financial tracking:
The app is completely offline: it does not sync directly with bank APIs (Open Banking) to protect your privacy.
It is not a registered financial advisor or formal accounting service.
The developer does not have remote access to your device or data.
Lost data cannot be recovered without a previous backup file.

1. Who we are
Controla Gastos is an Android application developed by Silvana Betoldo under the Criativament brand.

2. How the app works
The application operates on an offline, local-first architecture. It does not require user registration, cloud login,
or remote server storage. All financial data entered is stored exclusively within a local SQLite database on your device.
3. Data entered by the user
You may voluntarily enter:
expense and income amounts, transaction dates, and descriptions;
account and credit card names and manually entered balances;
category names, tags, and budget targets;
recurring bill dates and payment status;
photos of receipts attached to transactions.
This information stays on your device. The developer does not receive or store your financial database.
4. Device permissions
Camera and photos: used only when attaching receipt photos to transactions.
Files and documents: used to export or import backups, CSV files, and PDFs at your explicit command.
Notifications: used locally on the device to remind you of approaching bill due dates.
Internet: used to view online documentation, interact with Google Play services, and load ads in the free version.
5. Backups and sharing
Exported backup files contain personal financial data. You choose where to store or share these files.
You are responsible for keeping backups secure and deleting unnecessary copies.
6. Google Play, purchases, and ads
Google Play versions may use Google services to manage Premium license purchases, prevent fraud, and serve ads in the free version.
These services process data according to Google's Privacy Policy.
Controla Gastos never receives or stores your full credit card credentials or banking access codes.
6.1. Access to this website
This website's hosting service may record technical data needed to deliver and secure pages, such as IP address, date, time,
browser, and error logs. Aggregated analytics may be collected via Google Analytics without gathering personal financial records.
7. Retention and deletion
Local data remains on your phone while the app remains installed. You can delete all data at any time via the app settings,
by clearing app storage in Android settings, or by uninstalling the app. See our Data Deletion guide.
8. Security and user responsibility
We implement secure mobile storage patterns appropriate for local applications. We advise users to maintain device lock protection
(biometrics or PIN) and keep Android system updates active.
9. Children and adolescents
Controla Gastos is a budgeting tool designed for adults and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data.
10. Rights and contact
Because financial data remains strictly on your device, you have immediate and complete control to access, edit, export, or delete it locally.

1. Acceptance
By installing, opening, or using Controla Gastos, you declare that you have read and agreed to these Terms, the Privacy Policy,
and the End User License Agreement (EULA). If you disagree, do not use the software.
2. Purpose
Controla Gastos provides local record-keeping for personal income, expenses, accounts, and budgets. It is an auxiliary financial tool
and does not replace regulated banking, certified financial planning, or professional tax advice.
3. User responsibilities
provide accurate financial entries and periodically verify balances and categories;
safeguard device access with screen lock or biometrics;
generate and store backup files in secure, external destinations;
not use the application for unlawful or fraudulent operations.
4. Free and Premium versions
The free version may include advertising and standard features. The Premium version removes ads and unlocks additional convenience features
via a one-time purchase processed through Google Play.
5. Purchases, restorations, and refunds
All transactions, receipts, and refund requests are governed by Google Play Store terms. Purchase restoration relies on the active Google account
on the device.
6. Backups and data loss exemption
Storage is local. The developer does not maintain remote copies of user databases and cannot be held liable for losses resulting from device theft,
formatting, accidental deletion, or lack of recent backups.
7. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". Financial decisions, investments, and debt obligations remain solely the user's responsibility.
Statutory rights under consumer protection laws are fully respected.
8. Intellectual property
The Controla Gastos brand, software architecture, designs, and content are protected by copyright and intellectual property legislation.
Criativament grants the user a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Controla Gastos
on compatible Android devices in accordance with Google Play terms and these documents.
2. Restrictions
Users may not:
copy, rent, sublicense, sell, or redistribute the software;
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code;
bypass ad modules, license verification, or security features;
remove copyright notices or proprietary trademarks.
3. Premium license
The Premium license grants access to ad-free features for the lifetime of the application version, without transferring intellectual property rights.
4. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent jurisdiction under applicable consumer protection law.
